Overview Of Role: As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will assist the Associate/Projects Director or other defined line manager in business management, sales and the running of a cost consultancy team and subsequent achievement of project and business goals.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with the management of a Cost Consultancy team
* Take part in contract reviews relating to the contract with the customer
* Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports/liaison with sub-divisional manager
* Assist with securing new and repeat business in line with the sub-divisional budget
* Comply with QES system and Group/Unit directives
* Preparation of estimates and cost plans in line with the brief
* Potential to engage with line management duties
Required For The Position Senior Quantity Surveyor:
* Degree qualified in a Quantity Surveying subject (or equivalent)
* Proven skills and experience of delivering within a Cost Consultancy
* Demonstrable track record of working in the management services environment
* Expertise in stakeholder management
* Flexibility in work location and travel
* Previous experience of working on nuclear projects preferred

Preferred, But Not Required:
* MRICS qualified
* Excellent report writing skills
* Ability to prioritise and able to work under pressure
* Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with clients and colleagues
* Excellent presentation and communication skills
* Ability to demonstrate a flexible approach to work
* Proactive and self-motivated
* Client side or consultancy experience
* Procurement/ pre contract experience
* Effective time management
