A specialist SEN school in the Shawford area is seeking committed and professional Learning Support Assistants to join its dedicated team. The school supports primary-aged pupils with a range of needs including moderate and severe learning difficulties, complex needs, and autism. Pupils benefit from a structured, calm, and nurturing environment that promotes their learning, independence, and wellbeing.
This position is suitable for individuals with previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant, as well as candidates with transferable experience in childcare, care, health, youth work, family support, or other people-focused roles. Previous school experience is not required, as full guidance and support will be provided.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing in-class and individual support to primary-aged pupils with complex learning needs
* Supporting the development of communication, independence, and life skills
* Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff to implement individual learning plans

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
