Meraki Talent is working with a mid-tier Chartered Accountancy firm who sit within the Top 20 on the position of Audit Senior Manager.
The firm:
Our client is a well-known mid-tier firm offering bespoke accounting solutions to the local market. The firm has an incredibly rich history which spans + years and is part of a large network of the Top 20 firms in the UK.
The role:
Planning Engagements:
As Senior Audit Manager you will lead audit engagements, plan audit budget and resources, and lead engagements.
Communication:
Consult with clients and external advisors as well as internally in firm, managing upward when necessary.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements by writing and reviewing Audit reports and making recommendations for corrective actions.
Business development:
Play a role in the growth of the firm through business development efforts, utilising your current network and expanding the firm's portfolio.
Training:
Play a role in training and developing teams
Experience:
We are keen to speak with individuals currently operating in the Manager or Senior Manager grade within a reputable firm.
This may be an ideal move for a Big 4 Audit professional looking to move into the mid-tier space for a better work life balance but wants to remain working on larger clients.
* Qualified CA or has equivalent experience
* 4 years' Audit experience
* Experience of managing a team of Audit staff
* Experienced Assistant Manager or Manager
* You must have senior manager experience in a medium sized practice working SME's
* Strong technical knowledge, e.g. UK GAAP, FRS, IFRS and ISA's
