Overview
Tokio Marine HCC, a global power in the specialty insurance industry, is seeking a highly proficient Director, Business Development - Cyber. This position is responsible for the development of new and existing business for all lines of business within the Cyber & Professional Lines Group. Primary duties include identifying business opportunities, building and maintaining successful relationships with prospects and existing clients, collaborating with VP, Business Development and/or executives on business strategy to determine objectives, evaluating current business performance and maximizing reach and potential.

Key Responsibilities
* Relying on extensive knowledge and advanced leadership skills, this role is accountable for the following responsibilities.
* Manage broker/agent relationships, meeting key performance indicators and identifying, as well as developing new business by marketing within the assigned territory.
* Foster additional business opportunities through business travel, virtual meetings, conferences and industry events.
* Develop in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities and remain current on all company products.
* Help build long-term relationships between TMHCC underwriters and broker partners through setting up virtual and in-person meetings and introductions.
* Conduct broker and agent training using webinars and other web conferencing utilities.
* Track, report and maintain database of current and prospective contacts, marketing campaigns, opportunities and outreach activities in Salesforce or other CRM tools.
* Work with the marketing team to develop, adapt and implement specific marketing strategies and materials for new, warm or cold prospects. Also creates campaigns based on market research/intel.
* Ensure sound working relationships with clients and other company departments by acting as the point of contact.
Position Knowledge, Skills, And Requirements
* 4 years bachelor's degree preferred
* 10 years of relevant and progressive insurance industry business development. Wholesale and/or retail existing book of business preferred.
