Overview
Coventry and Warwickshire Pathology Service (CWPS) has an exciting opportunity for a Network Cellular Pathology Manager to join our management team. The role involves ownership of designated budgets, monitoring financial targets, and delivering cost improvement plans.
Responsibilities
* Take ownership of, monitor and control designated budgets, and identify and deliver cost improvement plans to achieve defined financial targets.
* Maintain an open, proactive and collaborative culture within Pathology, supported by effective two-way communication systems that promote achievements and activities of the relevant specialities while maintaining clinical standards.
* Lead the propagation and maintenance of all laboratory aspects of ISO standards, HSE requirements and other statutory regulations, ensuring delivery of services in line with these principles.
* Serve as expert in the Quality Management System, overseeing effective development and management of controlled documentation, non-conformities and audit reports.
* Manage the attendance and performance of all staff members, ensuring that all staff fulfil and maintain contractual requirements for mandatory training.
* Design and collaborate with the Pathology IT team on continuous developments to ensure efficient use of the laboratory information system, supporting effective patient care across all Pathology specialities.
* Lead by example to develop and maintain full engagement with all staff, demonstrating motivational, presentation and training skills at all times.
Location
Based across three hospital sites: Coventry Hospital (UHCW), George Eliot Hospital, and South Warwick Hospital (SWFT).
