The Role
We are seeking an Assistant Resident Services Manager to join a thriving Build to Rent (BTR) community. This role is ideal for someone with proven property experience who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service within a residential setting. You'll play a key role in supporting the Resident Services Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and outstanding experiences for residents.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide outstanding customer service through reception, resident communications, parcel handling, inspections, and move-in/move-out processes.
* Manage team rotas, support the resident services team, and oversee the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
* Conduct property inspections, liaise with contractors, and ensure health & safety compliance, including fire and water safety checks.
* Support rental performance by working with lettings colleagues and ensuring minimal void periods.
* Assist with budgets, reporting, and financial targets, ensuring efficient operational expenditure.
* Contribute to resident engagement by supporting events and encouraging positive feedback.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Previous property experience - essential, ideally within Build to Rent, residential, or hospitality environments.
* Strong background in customer service with excellent communication skills.
* Ability to manage and motivate a team.
* Knowledge of health & safety requirements within a residential or property environment.
* A proactive, problem-solving attitude with resilience and adaptability.
* Experience working towards performance targets.
