Contracts Manager – Civils Contractor (Durham)
Location: Durham, North East

A leading civil engineering contractor based in Durham is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple projects across the region. With a strong pipeline of work in highways, infrastructure, groundworks, and drainage, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive company with a solid reputation in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the delivery of multiple civil engineering projects from pre-construction through to completion
2. Lead and manage site teams, ensuring safety, quality, and programme targets are achieved
3. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain strong working relationships
4. Ensure compliance with contractual and commercial requirements
5. Report on progress, budgets, and key project milestones
6. Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement across all live sites
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Contracts Manager (or Senior Project Manager ready to step up) within the civil engineering sector
2. Strong knowledge of highways, infrastructure, and general civils schemes
3. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
4. Familiar with NEC or similar forms of contract
5. Full UK driving licence
