Registered Childrens Home Manager
Location: Cheddar, Somerset
Salary: 46,800 - 52,000 per annum + eligible for the 10,000 per annum bonus. Earning potential of up to 62,000 per annum.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (flexibility required to suit the needs of the business)
About the Role:
This company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Childrens Home Manager to lead a brand new children's home, set to open in 2024. This is a unique opportunity to shape and influence the future of a new facility, ensuring high standards of care and compliance from the very start.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage all aspects of the childrens home, ensuring the highest standards of care and safety.
2. Lead and motivate a team of care professionals, providing guidance and support.
3. Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and all relevant legislation.
4. Develop and implement care plans tailored to the needs of each child.
5. Maintain effective communication with children, families, and external agencies.
6. Oversee the home's budget and resources effectively.
Requirements:
7. Prior experience working in childrens residential care.
8. In-depth understanding of childrens home regulations.
9. Experience working with Ofsted.
10. Full UK driving license.
