We are working with a large financial institute who are looking to enhance and develop their business resilience team. The team are split across the UK, this role will require at least one day on site at either their Doncaster or London office. This role will lead 1 Analyst.
This role is a 1st line focussed role and will require an “on call” aspect.
The Role
* Own and continuously improve the Incident Management framework, ensuring processes are documented, governed, and regularly reviewed.
* Lead the response to operational incidents, coordinating stakeholders to minimise customer and business impact and drive timely resolution.
* Act as the primary liaison between business and technology teams during incidents, ensuring effective communication and escalation management.
* Facilitate incident reviews, root cause analysis, and remediation activities to prevent recurrence and strengthen operational resilience.
* Monitor incident trends, identify recurring issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensure incidents are managed consistently throughout their lifecycle, adhering to established processes and governance standards.
* Build strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand operational dependencies, risks, and service requirements.
* Produce management information, reporting, and insights on incident performance, trends, and key risks for senior stakeholders.
* Support senior leadership with incident communications, reporting, and decision-making during major operational events.
Experience Required
* Proven experience in Incident Management, Operational Resilience, Service Management, Business Continuity, or a related operational risk discipline.
* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships across business and technology functions.
* Experience coordinating responses to high-priority operational incidents in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Ability to prioritise competing demands and drive initiatives independently.
