Overview
We are looking for a skilled, freelance Painter & Decorator to support on-going works across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
* Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primer to ensure optimal adhesion of paints and finishes
* Apply paints, varnishes, and other decorative finishes using brushes and rollers
* Protect surrounding areas by covering floors, furniture, and fixtures during painting activities
* Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace throughout each project
* Drive between different sites as required to complete various decorating assignments
Experience
* Prior experience in painting and decorating is preferred
* Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate site travel
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Freelance
Pay: £15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
