We are currently working with a prestigious international law firm who are looking to take on a mid-senior level associate into their London team. Widely regarded as one of the leading teams in the city for employment law, they have a strong reputation for their work across both UK and cross-border issues.
You will be responsible for advising clients across financial services, retail, tech, pharma and other industries on employment law issues such as mass redundancies, global restructurings, litigation & internal investigations and complex HR & regulatory matters.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of post-qualified experience in a leading City or international firm with excellent academics to match. Applicants must be proactive such that they are able to handle complex, fast-paced matters across multiple jurisdictions with the ability to build strong client relationships.
Key Aspects:
* Leading on UK M&A transactions from an employment perspective - including due-diligence, employment warranties and indemnities as well as advising on TUPE and employment integration strategies.
* Managing multi-jurisdictional projects such as global policy rollouts, workforce reorganisations and HR compliance initiatives.
* Handling contentious matters including defending Tribunal Claims alongside High Court litigation concerning restrictive covenants as well as supporting clients through internal investigations and regulatory employment reviews.
* Advising on complex redundancy exercises, performance conduct issues, whistleblowing, discrimination, data privacy and settlement agreements.
