Whatthe opportunity looks like:
TheProject Engineer EC&I (Electrical Control &Instrumentation) will be responsible for the delivery of assignedCapital Projects within Whyte and Mackay (Distilling). They will berequired to follow the engineering governance requirements whichwill include elements of writing tender documents obtainingquotations adhering to and producing budgets working alongsideprocurement and legal to agree contracts and manage design/delivery installation and commissioning of the projects all in linewith the business requirements.
To provideEC&I engineering support to the Invergordon Dalmore JuraTamnavulin and Fettercairn Distillery production sites onimprovement projects and maintenance activities where required.
Working alongside production and other engineersmust be able to define a problem then scope design and deliver asafe costeffective solution. You will be required to work on own oras part of a team depending on task. As well as creation ofdocumentation and appraise proposals for work through our SafeSystems of Work to ensure a safe and sustainableenvironment.
* Lead/coordinate onelectrical elements of CAPEX projects across all 5distilleries.
* Ensure all support materials fromdocumentation support packages to amendments are controlledcentrally for all 5 sites.
* Ownership of SCADAsystems for all 5 distilleries reviewing forimprovement/replacement.
* Provide suitabledesign solutions ensuring the safest practicable option isselected.
* Look for and deliver improvements toreduce energy usage water usage and contribute to the net zerocarbon goal.
Skills andexperience that will help you be asuccess:
For this role werelooking for:
* Demonstrable experiencewithin a similar role.
* Qualification in arelevant engineering subject.
* Experiencemanaging engineering projects.
* Full drivinglicense.
