We’re looking for a proactive Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Coordinator to support ongoing compliance and continuous improvement across all operational areas. This role will be working in a team of 4 other HSE Professionals. Key Responsibilities Maintain the HSE compliance calendar, ensuring all statutory inspections, audits, and services (e.g. PUWER, LOLER, LEV, fire systems) are completed on time. Coordinate with contractors and internal departments to arrange inspections and maintenance. Carry out and record regular safety checks, including fire door, emergency lighting, and racking inspections. Keep accurate digital records of all inspections, certifications, and outstanding actions. Support with risk assessments, COSHH assessments, and internal audits. Assist in incident and near-miss investigations, tracking corrective actions through to completion. Monitor stock levels of PPE and first aid supplies, ensuring timely replenishment. Provide administrative support for HSE training, occupational health appointments, and compliance documentation. Escalate any compliance concerns or overdue actions promptly. Ideal Candidate Strong organisational and time management skills. Good working knowledge of HSE principles, particularly around compliance and inspections. Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with both internal teams and external contractors. Familiarity with PUWER, LOLER, and COSHH regulations. High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital record systems.
