The Role
We are looking for candidates with hands-on experience in a similar environment as the work is mainly assembly of car engines. However, due to a variety of working environments on site, we are also seeking individuals who have stores/warehouse experience, woodyard skills, as well as FLT licenced drivers. Full training will be provided, and a keen attitude, commitment to quality, health and safety, reliability and punctuality is essential.
Responsibilities
1. Operate production equipment
2. Follow all work processes to a very high standard
3. Keep the worksite clean to avoid hazards
4. Follow the company’s health & safety and quality guidelines
Requirements
5. Previous experience as a production worker or similar role
6. Good understanding of how production equipment works
7. Previous stores / warehouse experience
8. Previous experience using wood cutting tools (Desirable, not Essential)
9. FLT licence (Desirable, not Essential)
10. Knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures (safety gear will be provided)
11. Good communication and teamwork skills
12. Ability to work both days and late shifts when required
