Sellick Partnership is thrilled to be supporting a Local Authority in Essex with recruitment for a permanent Housing Lawyer.
This is a full-time opportunity, which would be well suited to a lawyer with substantial experience in housing disrepair litigation.
This is a hybrid working role, with office attendance required twice per week, and court attendance required as needed.
Responsibilities
The successful housing lawyer will be responsible for undertaking ownership of a varied and demanding caseload to include;
* A particular focus on disrepair cases, dealing with cases from pre-litigation through to conclusion of litigation
* Possession proceedings
* Closure orders
* Enforcement actions
Experience / Qualifications
* A strong understanding of the pre-action protocol for housing conditions claims and the litigation process is essential
* Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive
