Senior B2B Marketing & Events Executive

Originating from a collaboration with British Cycling, we've supported Olympians, Premiership football clubs, the New Zealand All Blacks and thousands of everyday athletes around the world. Our smart indoor bikes and digital platform offer market‑leading accuracy, a realistic ride feel, and training insights trusted by professionals and passionate amateurs alike. Now part of the Interactive Strength (TRNR) Group, Wattbike is entering a new phase of growth as we build our B2B channel in the UK and internationally. Our five‑year strategic goal is to grow to £50 m in revenue, with B2B contributing approximately 50 % of total sales. To support this journey, we’re looking for an experienced B2B Marketeer to join our team.


Purpose of the Role

To plan and execute high‑impact marketing, PR and event activity that drives awareness, engagement and conversion across Wattbike's B2B and distributor network, 30 % UK/70 % international. This role supports the global commercial team in dealing both directly and via distribution partners within elite sport, healthcare, education and over 3.5k gyms around the world, by delivering campaigns, content and experiences that strengthen brand equity, enable sales performance and reinforce Wattbike's position as the world’s most respected indoor performance brand.


Key Responsibilities

* Strategy & Planning
* Develop and deliver the annual B2B marketing and events plan aligned to the overall brand and commercial strategy
* Manage the B2B marketing budget, reporting performance monthly with clear KPIs and insight‑led recommendations
* Collaborate with the Commercial Director (B2B), BDMs and distributors to plan joint marketing activity that drives measurable results
* Ensure B2B activity complements and amplifies DTC marketing plans to create a consistent brand story
* Distributor & Partner Enablement
* Act as the primary marketing contact for all distributor and partner requests, providing strategic and tactical support
* Create and manage distributor marketing toolkits and the central Distributor Marketing Hub, ensuring assets are current, accessible and on‑brand
* Support partners with campaign planning, asset creation and KPI reviews to maximise local market performance
* Coordinate B2B content requirements with internal and external teams to maintain consistent messaging across channels
* Events & Activations
* Lead planning and delivery of trade events, exhibitions and training sessions and activations, managing end‑to‑end logistics and budgets
* Collaborate with Product, Brand and Commercial teams to design impactful event experiences that showcase innovation and drive engagement
* Manage post‑event analysis and feedback to inform future planning and measure ROI
* Collaborate with distributors and B2B key accounts to develop and co‑create brand partnership and promotional opportunities
* PR & Communications
* Partner with PR consultants and agencies to develop proactive media stories, case studies and press opportunities
* Support the creation of thought‑leadership and product‑innovation content to strengthen brand authority
* Maintain a forward PR calendar and align media activity with brand campaigns and events
* CRM & Email Marketing
* Work with the CRM Executive to plan and deliver automated and campaign‑based emails for B2B audiences
* Use data segmentation to nurture prospects and drive engagement across distributor and trade databases
* Review performance metrics and continuously improve based on insights
* Content & Organic Social
* Create, brief and manage high‑quality B2B content across web, CRM, social and print channels
* Manage B2B content on the Wattbike website – including news updates, case studies and distributor features
* Support organic social media with engaging and educational B2B‑focused posts that align with the wider brand narrative
* Generate creative briefs for B2B photo and video shoots, working with the brand and design teams to ensure high‑impact delivery


Measures of Success

* Growth in engagement metrics across B2B and distributor channels (database, CRM, social and web traffic)
* Positive feedback from distributors and commercial teams on collaboration and marketing support
* Successful delivery and measurable ROI from trade shows, partner activations and events
* Increased generation of distributor‑led and co‑branded content supporting global brand awareness
* Contribution to B2B revenue growth through effective marketing enablement


Requirements


Essential

* 5 years' experience in a sports or fitness B2B marketing, events or communications role
* Proven ability to plan and deliver multi‑channel marketing campaigns with multiple stakeholders
* Hands‑on experience with CRM and email platforms (Klaviyo or equivalent)
* Strong copywriting and communication skills across written and visual formats, with experience of creating accurate localised and multi‑language assets
* Confident project manager with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Demonstrable experience in event planning and execution


Desirable

* Experience supporting international distributor or reseller networks
* A genuine passion for sport, fitness and performance culture and education
* Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign)
