Main duties
* Deputise for the Clinical Lead in their absence.
* Support the Clinical Lead clinically and professionally for all audiology services (Paediatric Audiology, Adult Rehabilitation, Diagnostic Audiovestibular, NHSP, and Hearing Therapy).
* Act as Clinical Governance Lead for the service, handling complaints, patient feedback, risks, incidents, and driving service learning and quality improvements.
* Support progression of the service toward IQIPS accreditation.
* Maintain an individual complex clinical workload (including leading the Vestibular service) while providing clinical supervision and training.

Person Specification
Qualifications (Essential)
* Clinical Scientist (Audiology) registered with HCPC or Clinical Physiologist (Audiology) registered with AHCS
* MSc in Audiology or equivalent experience
* Portfolio of evidence for CPD in Audiology
* Leadership training or experience in training/supervising
Qualifications (Desirable)
* Education/teaching certification
* Leadership, coaching or mentor training
Experience (Essential)
* Substantial senior-level experience within Audiology
* Staff management/training at Supervisor level
* Experience with Adults (including Vestibular assessment) and paediatrics
* Experience of Clinical Governance in an NHS setting
Experience (Desirable)
* Recent involvement in research or audit
