SLM Select Hastings is looking for an experienced *Vehicle Technician/Mechanic* with a strong work ethic to join our busy workshop team.
As a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic, you will be working in a busy, multi-brand workshop environment, where you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing motor vehicles to the high standards of the SLM Group.
*What we’re looking for in a Vehicle Technician:*
* NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Repair or equivalent (required)
* Experience in vehicle servicing and maintenance
* Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
* Full UK driving licence
* Team player with a customer-focused attitude
*Key responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:*
* Carry out vehicle services and repairs to manufacturer standards
* Diagnose and repair non-routine defects
* Ensure jobs are completed efficiently and accurately
* Work collaboratively with the dealership team
