The role
This is an unpaid work-experience placement suitable for school students aged 15 and over. The placement will be based at our Maes y Ffynnon office in Penrhosgarnedd, Bangor. It is a one-week opportunity during the week commencing 6 July 2026, with up to 25 hours available. Exact working hours will be agreed with you in advance.
As a Data and Records Assistant, you will help sort, scan and manage physical documents, deciding which need to be retained and which can be securely destroyed. You will also have the opportunity to learn about records and data management, as well as gain insight into different areas of our work, including marine, conservation and GIS (Geographic Information Systems). This placement will give you valuable experience in organising and handling documents while developing new skills in a supportive environment.
