Insurance Manager at a Global Energy Business
We are partnered with a global energy company to recruit an Insurance Manager for their fast-growing business, which has a revenue of over $18 billion USD and operates in six trading offices located in London, UAE, Singapore, USA, Belgium, and Switzerland.
This company offers expertise in energy trading, operations, logistics, storage, and retail. Their diversified portfolio spans various segments of the energy industry, including trading crude oil, petroleum products, natural gas, and renewables.
Responsibilities:
1. Analyze and develop optimal insurance program structures.
2. Negotiate cost-effective coverage, terms, and conditions across insurance policies.
3. Manage accurate and timely underwriting data submissions for program renewals.
4. Manage relationships with external partners, including insurance brokers, third-party administrators, and insurance providers.
Requirements:
1. Experience in an in-house insurance role at a commodity trading company, preferably in oil trading, or experience in a client-facing role for an insurance broker or carrier within the energy or marine markets.
2. Experience working within an international environment, ideally within an international organization or multinational private sector.
3. Knowledge of the insurance market and current trends.
