Position
University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is looking for experienced Operating Department Practitioners (ODP) at Band 5 to join the Theatre Anaesthetics team.
Role Overview
You will work across multiple theatres, covering Trauma Orthopaedics, ENT Max Fac, Vascular, Thoracic, General, CEPOD, Cardiac and Neuro. The team also supports X‑Ray, Cath labs, Angio suites, CT and MRI scanners. You will assist with Level One Trauma support in the ED, as the hospital is an adult and paediatric Major Trauma Centre.

* Provide a high standard of individualised patient care in accordance with agreed policies and Trust core values.
* Demonstrate the aptitude to work in highly pressurised situations with maturity, motivation, enthusiasm and common sense.
* Commit to flexibility and collaboration with the established team.
* Develop critical care skills to become a competent member of the team caring for critically ill patients in a complex environment.
Qualifications & Experience
* Band 5 ODP with recent post‑registration experience within an acute theatre environment.
