Purpose of the Role To assist in the preparation, control and coordination of quality assurance documentation for engineering and manufacturing projects undertaken by the business. To liaise between engineering, production teams, management and customers on quality-related matters as required. This is a site-based role operating in a live engineering and manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare project-specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for manufacturing and engineering projects. Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure ITP requirements are understood, implemented and adhered to in a live environment. Produce, manage and collate Lifetime Quality Records (LTQRs) throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring final documentation meets customer and company requirements. Assist with practical quality assurance activities including dimensional checks, inspections, sampling and verification activities. Review supplier-provided documentation for correctness and conformity to specifications. Assist in the management and control of tools, equipment and monitoring/measuring devices used in manufacturing processes. Support the recording, investigation and reporting of quality-related non-conformances. Assist with internal audits and supplier audits as required.
