Job summary
Clinical Teaching Fellow in Psychiatry Out of Programme Experience (MT03/MT05) dependant on experience Part Time working 24 hours per week Start date August 2025
We are inviting applications for a Clinical Teaching Fellow to support the teaching of undergraduate medical students on their Psychiatry placements from Brunel Medical School in our Hillingdon Mental Health Services.
The post will suit a doctor who has completed (or due to imminently complete) Core Psychiatry Training and is seeking an opportunity to develop their teaching skills and medical education knowledge.
The post is part time and will work closely with CNWL's Director of Undergraduate Education, Module Lead and the regional Specialty Lead.

Main duties of the job
The post holder has a key role in facilitating undergraduate educational activities within CNWL (Hillingdon site), but also more widely within the Year 3 Psychiatry course. The post offers extensive teaching opportunities and responsibilities. The post holder will develop their undergraduate education and teaching administration skills, working closely with CNWL's Director of Undergraduate Education and Module and Specialty Leads.
The post is solely an education post and there is no clinical placement that forms part of the post.

* Support the DUE, Module and Specialty Leads to ensure the smooth running of the lecture programme.
