We are a well-established law firm with a reputation for providing high-quality legal services. Our Residential Property team is growing, and we are seeking a dedicated Residential Conveyancer to join us. You will play a vital role in assisting clients with the purchase and sale of residential properties, providing expert legal advice and ensuring smooth transactions from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
· Managing a caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and leasehold transactions.
· Providing clear and professional legal advice to clients, ensuring they are informed at every stage of the process.
· Conducting legal research, preparing and reviewing contracts, and liaising with clients, estate agents, and other professionals.
· Reviewing title deeds, searches, and mortgage documentation, and advising clients on any potential risks or issues.
· Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and procedures to ensure smooth and timely transactions.
· Managing client expectations and delivering excellent customer service throughout the process.
· Maintaining accurate records of all transactions and ensuring all documentation is completed correctly.
Key Skills and Experience:
· Qualified Solicitor, or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 2 years experience in residential conveyancing.
· Strong knowledge of property law, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and leasehold transactions.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and understandable way.
· Ability to manage a busy caseload and meet deadlines while providing excellent client care.
· Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
· A team player who is also able to work independently and take initiative.
