We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mental Health Nurse to join our Mental Health team at HMP Onley, a Category C Prison located in Rugby. There is on-site parking, on-site gym, and plenty of training and development opportunities.
Hours
37.5 hours per week, 3‑week rolling rota (8‑4 / 8:30‑4:30, 1 day on weekends)
Salary
Full time, annual salary up to £48,118 per annum FTE, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
* Responsible for assessment and ongoing management of patients' mental health needs.
* Work collaboratively with the multi‑disciplinary team as an autonomous practitioner managing a caseload of patients, assessing physical, social and psychological needs to develop a holistic health care plan.
* Contribute to our nursing strategy and vision: provide evidence‑based care, seek and act on patient feedback to personalise care.
* Deliver non‑judgemental care, building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries.
* Actively participate in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care following policies and procedures, always considering safeguarding.

Qualifications
* HCPC / NMC registered nurse.
* Experience in mental health settings, with knowledge and understanding of this patient group.
* Evidence of continued professional development.
* Experience working collaboratively with other agencies and stakeholders in a multi‑disciplinary environment.
Ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment, though not essential.
