We’re looking for a confident and commercially minded Employee Relations (ER) Specialist to join our friendly and hardworking HR team in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.
What You Will Be Doing
This is an excellent opportunity to take a leading role in supporting managers and teams across the business by providing expert guidance on all aspects of employee relations.
You’ll act as a trusted adviser, confidently navigating everything from day-to-day issues to complex cases. Your sound judgement and pragmatic approach will ensure legal compliance, and enable leaders to make informed, people-focused decisions.
Confident delivering training to managers to enhance leadership capability, you’ll also be at ease guiding them through change management, restructures, and workforce planning.
What You Will Bring
* Extensive background in employee relations across a variety and breadth of issues, ideally within a manufacturing environment
* Solid knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
* Proven experience handling complex cases from start to resolution
* Confident and clear communicator with the ability to influence and advise at all levels
* CIPD qualification or working towards (Level 5 or above preferred)
* A practical, solutions-focused mindset with excellent attention to detail
* Confident using HR Systems with proficiency in Microsoft Word.
