Highway Maintenance SchedulerChester Area£30.00 per hour PAYE40 hours per weekMinimum 3-Month ContractImmediate Start AvailableWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Highway Maintenance Scheduler to support a busy highways asset maintenance contract based in the Chester area.This is an excellent opportunity to join an established operational team working within a fast-paced highways maintenance environment, coordinating reactive, cyclic and planned maintenance activities across the network.The successful candidate will play a key role in scheduling works, allocating operational resources, monitoring live activities and ensuring client response times are consistently achieved.Key Responsibilities:Planning and scheduling reactive, planned and cyclic highway maintenance worksManaging live work programmes and responding to urgent client requestsAllocating labour, plant and operational resources effectivelyCoordinating traffic management and permit requirementsMonitoring programme performance and identifying resourcing issuesLiaising with operational teams, supervisors and stakeholdersSupporting highway emergency and potentially winter maintenance responsesUpdating electronic scheduling systems and producing reportsUsing systems such as Confirm and StreetManagerCandidate Requirements:Previous experience within highways maintenance, asset maintenance or reactive works environmentsExperience scheduling operational or maintenance activitiesKnowledge of permits, TTRO processes and traffic management coordinationStrong organisational and communication skillsAbility to work effectively within a fast-paced operational environmentGood IT skills including Microsoft OfficeExperience using Confirm, Symology Aurora or StreetManager would be advantageousWhats On Offer:Up to £30.00 per hour PAYE40-hour working weekMinimum 3-month contract with potential extension25 days holiday plus 8 statutory days (pro rata)Immediate start availableOpportunity to work on a busy and long-term highways maintenance contractDue to the urgency of this requirement, applications are encouraged as soon as possible.TPBN1_UKTJ
