Are you a digital-first marketing professional with a passion for property? This standalone role offers full ownership of the marketing strategy and execution, with a focus on creative branding and PR.
We’re seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join a growing property company. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on variety, loves creating impactful campaigns, and is ready to drive results across digital channels, PR and events.
You’ll be joining a dynamic and ambitious business with a strong reputation in residential and commercial property. As the standalone marketing lead, you’ll work closely with senior leadership and sales teams, managing all aspects of the brand presence and lead generation strategy.
Location and hours
Location: 4 days per week in Hertfordshire / Hertford office, 1 day from home
Hours: 9 am – 5.30 pm
Benefits: private healthcare + generous holiday of 29 days plus 2-week office closure over the Christmas period
About the Role
This is a highly autonomous position, giving you the freedom and responsibility to shape the marketing function from the ground up. You’ll lead across digital marketing, website management, branding, content creation, PR and industry events.
We’re looking for someone who’s as comfortable crafting a social campaign as they are managing an external agency or organising an event. A hands-on, proactive mindset is key.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver a marketing strategy that supports business goals across sales, brand, and client engagement
* Own and manage the company’s digital channels – including website content, SEO, email marketing and social media
* Create compelling marketing content – from brochures and blog posts to videos and case studies
* Led marketing projects such as an upcoming rebrand
* Monitor campaign performance and track key KPIs, producing regular reports and insights
* Plan and coordinate PR activity, including drafting press releases and building media relationships
* Organise and promote events, exhibitions and client hospitality opportunities
* Work with third-party agencies and suppliers when required (designers, developers, PR consultants, PPC)
* Keep up to date with industry trends and innovations to keep the brand ahead of the curve
About You
You’re a confident, well-rounded marketer with a proven track record in the property or real estate sector (preferred but not essential). You understand the sales cycle, the importance of brand perception, and the role digital channels play in driving enquiries and building trust.
You’re excited by the opportunity to lead and deliver end-to-end campaigns – and you enjoy rolling your sleeves up to get things done. You’re entrepreneurial and open to trying new things.
Must-haves
* 3-5 years' experience in a marketing role, with experience in property or real estate preferred but not essential
* Strong digital marketing skills, particularly across social media, websites and email
* Ability to apply creativity to content, campaigns and social channels
* Experience using CMS platforms, social scheduling tools, CRM systems and analytics tools
* Excellent copywriting and content creation skills, with strong attention to detail
* Confident managing external suppliers and working closely with internal stakeholders
* Commercially aware, data-driven, and results-focused
Nice-to-haves
* Familiarity with InDesign/Photoshop or basic design tools (e.g. Canva)
* Experience with HubSpot, Google Analytics 4, or similar platforms
* Event planning or PR experience within the property industry
