Enjoy an extra paid day off on your birthday each year Spread the cost of your commute with interest-free season ticket loans Do your bit for the environment and save money with our Cycle2Work scheme We're proud to partner with the Retail Trust and Fashion & Textile Children's Trust WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: Accountable for ensuring support for accurate preparation of UK quarterly VAT returns Accountable for review of Channel Islands quarterly GST returns by Tax and Customs Assistants Responsible for accurate reporting of ecommerce sales data to 3rd party, reviewing data prepared by tax assistants and ensuring all payments made to deadlines Accurate month end reporting, providing detail and clarity on variance analysis Accountable for reviewing and developing best processes Support the Group Tax Manager and Head of Tax and Customs with the completion of all corporation tax computations Responsible for collation of data to prepare quarterly payment on account and Management Accounts reporting and ensuring accurate preparation Responsible for collation of data and preparation of accurate reporting in relation to employment tax To support Tax team on ad-hoc projects as required Support the development of imports and export strategies in line with wider supply chain and international strategies. Ensure all Tax and Customs documentation for International and UK legislation (SAO, AEO, CFSP, etc.) is accurate and compliant. Review VAT returns prepared in-house and verified by 3rd party advisors and ensure funds are available for payment with the Treasury function. WHO YOU ARE: Advanced Excel skills necessary, Minimum 2 years experience working in finance/tax or customs environment Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
