Overview
WPS are looking for a skilled and reliable Joiner / Multi-Trade Operative to join our responsive maintenance team working across social housing properties in the Skelmersdale area.
Responsibilities
* Carry out joinery and multi-trade repairs in occupied and void properties
* Deliver high-quality maintenance works in line with health and safety standards
* Respond to urgent repair requests and complete scheduled tasks efficiently
* Work independently and as part of a team to meet service targets
Requirements
* NVQ Level 2 in Joinery or relevant trade
* Proven experience in responsive maintenance within social housing
* Full UK driving licence
* Ability to work across multiple trades (e.g., basic plumbing, tiling, patch plastering)
Desirable
* Strong customer service skills and a professional approach
* Familiarity with handheld devices and job management systems
