Project Manager
Location: Maidenhead
Work Environment: Hybrid (In-office 3 days, Tuesday to Thursday)
Salary: Up to £60,000
Our client is seeking an experienced project management professional to partner with their customers in managing the implementation of systems within their business. The role involves monitoring projects from initial proposals through scoping, estimations, and ongoing management of project delivery as part of their digital transformation initiatives. You will work within the professional services team to help customers realize the benefits of their products through effective, streamlined, and best-practice business processes.
Responsibilities
1. Use disciplined project management methodologies and tools to implement and configure increasingly larger and more complex products to meet customer needs.
2. Manage project budgets, including revenue forecasting and billing.
3. Perform scoping and effort estimation for small to medium implementation projects.
4. Develop detailed project plans to guide clients, staff, and project teams, revising them as project needs evolve.
5. Assign project tasks based on team members' skills, experience, and strengths.
6. Monitor project performance to ensure timely delivery.
7. Collaborate effectively with stakeholders for efficient project implementation.
8. Enhance leadership, customer relations, and communication skills to liaise with all project stakeholders.
9. Provide high-quality customer service, building strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
10. Understand high-level technical aspects of the organization, including application architecture and infrastructure.
11. Prepare and deliver project status updates and risk assessments to management to keep implementations on schedule.
Required Skills
* Proven project management experience, demonstrated by working independently on projects.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
* Knowledge of SQL.
* Highly motivated self-starter with problem-solving skills and a desire to assist others.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently within a high-paced, focused team environment.
* Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of working under pressure.
