We are assisting a business based in Central London to recruit for a HR Assistant to provide recruitment and generalist HR support to the HR Lead. This role will give you the chance to develop on your existing skills within HR and develop further. Candidates will need to have previous experience of working within HR. Recruitment * Manage job boards, social media and the company’s careers site. * Source and screen candidates to build a qualified applicant pool. * Coordinate interviews, assessments and candidate communications. * Maintain accurate candidate records in compliance with data protection standards. * Draft offer letters and support the pre-boarding process. * Collaborate with hiring managers to prepare induction plans. * Represent the company at job fairs, career events and community outreach activities. Onboarding & Employee Experience * Prepare documentation and organize induction presentations/plans. * Facilitate smooth onboarding for new hires – right to work checks, referencing, DBS checks * Support with employee engagement activities, training sessions and workshops. HR Administration & Employee Lifecycle * Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries regarding policies, procedures, and benefits. * Manage employee benefit enrolment and ensure accurate records of participation. * Maintain and update employee files, ensuring compliance and accuracy through regular audits. * Assist with grievance, disciplinary, and capability processes. * Support performance appraisals and reviews, helping managers track progress and ensure documentation is completed. * Provide HR reports and management information on absence, recruitment, disciplinary actions, grievances, benefits, and HR spend.
