About the Role
We're seeking experienced Assembly Operatives to join our client's team in Whitstable. This role is ideal for candidates with strong warehouse experience, particularly in assembling small components.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble small electrical components with precision
* Perform quality checks, including microscope use
* Maintain a clean and organised work area
* Leak Testing
* Lasering
* Communicate effectively with line managers
* Collaborate with team members for efficient production
* Adhere to safety protocols, including proper PPE usage
* Use of microscope.
Qualifications:
* Previous warehouse/production environment experience is essential
* Assembly experience (preferred)
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Commitment to safety standards
* Quality checking experience (preferred)
* Ability to follow detailed assembly instructions
* Basic computer skills for data entry

Work Schedule:
* Monday to Thursday 8am - 4:30pm
* Friday 8am -1:30pm
* 37.5 hours per week with overtime opportunities
Must be able to attend an assessment centre, and be able to start work within 24 to 48 hours if the assessment day
