Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate
Nursery Manager
to lead our new setting, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and education. You will oversee daily operations, lead and inspire the staff team, and ensure we meet and exceed Ofsted requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the nursery to achieve excellence in care and education.
Manage day-to-day operations including staffing, budgeting, and parent relationships.
Ensure full compliance with
Ofsted ,
EYFS, and
safeguarding
requirements.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and improvement plans.
Supervise and support staff through regular supervision and training.
Build positive relationships with parents, the local community, and external agencies.
Maintain accurate records and manage nursery documentation effectively.
Monitor childrens learning and progress, ensuring individual needs are met.
Requirements:
Minimum
Level 3 qualification in Early Years
(Level 5+ desirable).
Minimum
2 years experience
in a managerial or deputy role.
Excellent knowledge of
Ofsted requirements ,
EYFS, and
safeguarding .
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
A genuine passion for early years education and child development.
Enhanced DBS and suitable references.
