Overview
Health & Safety Administrator role for a leading provider of door-to-door transportation services for bulk-liquid chemicals and food-grade products. This is a newly created position, and the successful candidate will be the main SHEQ contact for the site, working within a state-of-the-art Tank cleaning and Repair facility. The role will be two-part: supporting the office function and receiving training in health and safety at the terminal.
Job Purpose
We are advertising this Health & Safety Administrator role on behalf of our client, a leading provider of door-to-door transportation services for bulk-liquid chemicals and food-grade products. The successful candidate will be the main SHEQ contact for the site and will work within a state-of-the-art Tank cleaning and Repair facility. This is a new opportunity for someone who would like to be trained in both office support and health & safety at the terminal.
In the role of Health & Safety Coordinator (SHEQ), you will advise line management on health, (food)safety, quality, compliance and sustainability matters, and help ensure guidance is incorporated into day-to-day processes and operations. You will also be involved in general office administration, including updating databases, producing cleaning certificates, answering emails and calls, and assisting drivers.
This role offers travel to London and the Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities
* Administers drivers on arrival to terminal/customers when booking tanks into the depot
* Work with customer schedules for Tank Cleaning/Loading
* Assist with Internal Audits as planned & on request from management in local offices
* Support Management & local audits for terminal
* Support Training department in monitoring and setting up Stolt Tank Containers training program, implementing SHEQ related trainings to local staff, whilst registering training efforts.
* Support in identifying, implementing & governing relevant legislation
* General Office administration support to terminal office
Education
* Bachelor or similar level of education related to Logistics, Health & Safety, Environmental or Quality (Desirable)
* NEBOSH Level 2,3 or equivalent (Desirable)
* Willingness to study towards IOSH/ NEBOSH level 6
Experience
* Experience in the logistics & transport industry (Desirable)
* Health & Safety experience (Desirable)

* Good communicator with strong interpersonal skills
* Must be team oriented, ethical and organised
* Able to keep high level overview, prioritize and set goals
