Overview
We are currently seeking to recruit a new cleaner for our Domestic Services Team. Our building is a busy, vibrant and energetic place to work, and to be successful in this role you will need to have an ability to work well under pressure and be able to work collaboratively within a team. In this role, the key duties will be to focus on the cleaning and preparation of the LSU Building and Venues prior to the building opening to users. The LSU building is a mix of study and meeting room space, office space, alongside commercial outlets including hosting weekly club nights.
Training
Full training and induction will be given to successful candidates including the use of commercial cleaning machines.
Details
The position is offered on LSU Scale 2, currently £23,332– £23,543 per annum. Offers will be made at a pay point appropriate to the skill and experience of the successful candidate. Appointments made prior to April 1st will be eligible to be awarded an increment in accordance with the annual increment process.
Terms
The appointment will be subject to the LSU’s Terms and Conditions of Employment.
Hours
This role offers up to 35 hours per week, and we\'re happy to consider part-time and job share arrangements. Hours are assigned by a changing weekly rota dependant on business requirements. Although the hours and shifts for this position are varied and offer some flexibility in terms of days, shifts will primarily start from 5am. Length and number of shifts throughout the week are open to discussion at interview, however Thursday mornings will be non-negotiable.
