About The Role
As the Area Engineering Director (Emerging Markets) for Reckitt, you'll oversee all engineering activities within the Emerging Markets area, ensure efficient delivery of the regional supply capital investment plan, the development of capital masterplans, compliance to preferred suppliers list and relevant engineering standards & processes, capital project review and remediation, governance and ad-hoc support. This involves strategic leadership, risk management, fostering a safety-conscious culture, and close collaboration with factories for seamless execution of capital plans. The role is pivotal in aligning project success criteria with industrial execution, ensuring a commitment to deliver solutions that meet or exceed agreed requirements.
Your responsibilities
* Craft and oversee the Engineering strategy, aligning it with our company's objectives for growth.
* Drive simplification and standardisation, ensuring a balance between innovation and efficiency.
* Build and lead a talented team, fostering an environment of development and clarity of purpose.
* Engage with key stakeholders across functions, setting a collaborative tone to optimise supply chain performance.
* Embrace and drive positive change, confidently proposing improvements for greater profitability.
The experience we're looking for
* Multiple years leading within Supply, Manufacturing, or Procurement with a track record of impactful team management.
* Proven track record in successfully implementing engineering capital investment programs
* Demonstrated success in promoting and implementing cost-effective strategies for sustainable growth.
* Strong relationship management skills with a flair for building partnerships.
* Proficiency in using advanced analytics to inform data-driven decision making and improve business processes.
