Job Description: Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN)
Salary:
£22.00 per hour (subject to experience and qualifications)

The Role:
As a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN), you will play a pivotal role in leading the clinical care for our residents. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, ensuring the highest standards of practice and promoting the dignity and well-being of everyone in our home. You will provide clinical leadership and support to our team of Care Assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Care: Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to residents with a variety of healthcare needs, including dementia, palliative care, and long-term conditions.
Medication Management: Safely administer and manage medication in accordance with NMC guidelines and company policy.
Care Planning: Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized care plans in partnership with residents, their families, and the multidisciplinary team.
Leadership: Provide clear direction, supervision, and support to Care Assistants, promoting a positive and collaborative team environment.
Monitoring & Assessment: Conduct regular health assessments, monitor residents' conditions, and respond promptly to any changes.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date clinical records in line with NMC standards and legal requirements.
Communication: Build strong, therapeutic relationships with residents, their families, and visitors. Liaise effectively with GPs, district nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Compliance: Ensure all care delivered complies with the latest NMC code of conduct, CQC regulations, and company policies and procedures.
Promoting Dignity: Champion person-centered care, always respecting the privacy, dignity, and independence of our residents.

Person Specification:
Essential:
A valid NMC PIN as a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN).
A genuine passion for elderly care and a commitment to providing outstanding person-centered support.
Excellent clinical knowledge and skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team and to use your own initiative.
Up-to-date knowledge of CQC standards and NMC code of conduct.
Desirable:
Previous experience working in a care home or similar environment.
Experience in dementia care, palliative care, or tissue viability.
