About the Role
As Head Chef, you'll be instrumental helping to ensure the continued exceptional standards and reputation. You'll work with quality seasonal ingredients to create British/European cuisine, with the opportunity to contribute your ideas towards changing menus. This is also an excellent opportunity to work closely with a talented Group Executive Chef, who will support with your continued career development and potential onward progression.
Responsibilities
* Lead the kitchen of the restaurant.
* Ensure exceptional standards and reputation.
* Create Mediterranean /European cuisine using quality seasonal ingredients.
* Contribute ideas towards changing menus.
* Mentor, develop and help retain a close-knit team of Chefs, BOH team members and Apprentices.
* Be accountable for P&Ls and Food Cost.
* Provide proficient training in Food Safety, Health & Safety and HACCP.
Qualifications
* Previous experience within busy reputable 2/3 AA Rosette Restaurants at senior level.
* Sound knowledge of Mediterranean / European Cuisine.
Required Skills
* Inspiring leadership skills.
* Sound financial awareness.
* Proficient training in Food Safety, Health & Safety and HACCP.
Preferred Skills
* Experience in a high-profile restaurant environment.
