We are seeking a HGV Technician to join our Client's HGV Fleet Workshop in the Ware area.
Our Client specialise in a variety of work within the Automotive Industry. The work ranges from Commercial Vehicles, to Plant Hire, and Agricultural. They are a family run Independent Company with a small team in the workshop (under 5 people) with a long-standing history, so it is vital they have the right attitude and want to feel valued as part of the team and not just a number!
Our Client is offering the successful HGV Technician:
6. Up To £20 Per Hour
7. Monday To Friday 7am - 3pm (40 Hour Week)
8. Plenty Of Overtime Available
9. Independent HGV Fleet Workshop - Small Close-Knit Workshop Team
10. HGV License Advantageous, Not Essential, Own Tools Required
Duties of a HGV Technician with our Client:
11. Performance of all maintenance services according to the manufacturer's instructions and according to the maintenance schedule.
12. All visual inspections, adjustment operations, adjustments, operating fluid changes and additions, replacement of worn equipment.
13. Responsible for repairing and servicing of Commercial vehicles booked into the workshop.
14. Diagnosing faults on HGV's
What our Clients expect of their HGV Technicians:
15. HGV Class 2 Driving License advantageous
16. City & Guild / NVQ or equivalent HGV Qualifications advantageous
17. A stable background working with HGVs
18. Full UK driving license
