A HLTA is required for the a secondary SEMH school in the Newcastle area. This role will begin this month, asap and last for the rest of term at least until Christmas. The school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers.
The ideal candidate would:
1. Have good classroom management skills
2. Have a passion for working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant
3. Be able to organise themselves
4. Be able to support effectively as an HLTA and lead lessons if needed
In addition, you must:
5. Provide two referees we can contact
6. Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one
Please note that the rate of pay will be dependent on the level of qualification you have achieved and the amount of experience you have to date.
