Duties…
• Working for a leading manufacturing firm, with an excellent global reputation for providing innovative solutions to their customers
• Processing purchase orders, monitoring delivery times, chasing suppliers as necessary and updating stock records
• Resolving all supplier issues, such as damaged goods, late delivery etc.
• Contacting vendors to obtain price and availability information.
• Making supplier selections or suggestions.
• Ensure that materials, equipment, and supplies are ordered and delivered in a timely manner.
• Expediting – Follow up suppliers to ensure adherence to delivery schedule.
• Verify prices with suppliers and amend purchase orders if necessary
• Preparing and issue quotes for parts, processing sales orders
Job Desirables…
• Knowledge of working in a procurement team previously
• Excellent supplier relationship building skills
• Strong MS Office and systems knowledge
