Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Gas Engineer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
* Install, maintain, and repair gas appliances and systems in residential and commercial properties.
* Conduct thorough inspections of gas installations to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
* Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on faulty gas systems, identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
* Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to carry out installations and repairs.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as plumbers and electricians, to complete projects efficiently.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and compliance documentation.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times while working on-site.
Skills
* Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to gas engineering tasks.
* Strong plumbing skills with the ability to understand plumbing systems associated with gas installations.
* Mechanical knowledge with an aptitude for assembly tasks related to gas appliances.
* Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations.
* Experience in carpentry is advantageous for completing necessary structural modifications.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during installation or maintenance tasks.
