As Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of the commercial management of a large mechanical and electrical package, ensuring effective cost control, risk management, and contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
You must be confident managing high-value MEP works and dealing with complex supply chains, subcontract packages, and change management processes.
Key Responsibilities

Commercial management of a £300m MEP package

Procurement, subcontract negotiation and contract administration

Cost forecasting, CVRs, and financial reporting

Managing variations, compensation events, and change control
*
Subcontractor payments and final accounts
*
Risk and value management
*
Working closely with project directors, planners, and MEP leads
*
Ensuring robust commercial governance and compliance
Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor on large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects
*
Strong background managing high-value mechanical & electrical packages
*
Experience working for a Tier 1 or major main contractor
*
Comfortable dealing with large package values and complex reporting structures
*
Strong contractual knowledge (NEC / JCT as applicable)
*
Highly numerate and commercially focused
*
Experience using Computer Management software (essential)
