Experience required…
Essential:
* Proven experience in drafting and processing Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs)
* Ability to produce accurate TRO schedules and associated mapping
* Strong understanding of UK traffic legislation and statutory procedures
* Familiarity with local authority processes and public consultation requirements
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Clear and professional written communication for legal and technical documents
* Ability to manage multiple TRO schemes and meet deadlines
Desirable:
* Experience working with legal teams or solicitors on TRO-related matters
* Knowledge of experimental and temporary TRO procedures
* Understanding of parking policy and enforcement implications
* Familiarity with asset management systems and digital TRO platforms
* Ability to liaise effectively with councillors, stakeholders, and the public
* Awareness of accessibility and equality considerations in traffic orders
* Working knowledge of traffic signs and road markings regulations
* Competence in using GIS or mapping software for TRO plans
