Job Description

Our Market-leading client is now offering the opportunity to be part of their finance team as an Accounts Assistant. Our client is looking for an individual with a strong background within accounts to come and support the finance team during this period of growth. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who is immediately available or someone with a reduced notice period to get straight into work and be part of exciting projects the company has to offer. Although this opportunity will start off as a temporary assignment there is a high prospect of it going permanent as you grow within the business.

This role is amazing for an individual with a strong background in accounting and have a passion to use their skills in a professional environment. The successful candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills allowing them to confidently liaise with the senior stakeholders within the company. The responsibilities you will take on are duties like verifying invoices, completing statement reconciliations, bank posting, completing end-to-end Credit Control, and chasing debt from suppliers.

Skills Required

* Be a proactive individual with a proven-track record of meeting deadlines as you will be expected to work autonomously this entails duties like managing your own ledgers and management of stakeholders including suppliers and clients.
* Have previous experience in an Accounts Assistant role or similar exposure in Accounts Payable/Receivable processes.
* Proficiency when using Excel and other accounting software where you are capable of manipulating data.
* Be confident in your communication skills allowing you to liaise and support the senior stakeholders of the business.
