An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Borders Agency.
About the role:
We are seeking a motivated and customer focused individual to join our team as a Motor & Personal Sales & Support Executive. In this role, you will be responsible for selling motor and personal insurance products, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the sales team in achieving business targets.
• New business prospecting, lead generation and sales development.
• Identify customer needs and provide suitable insurance solutions.
• Cross selling a range of NFU Mutual products across general insurance, financial services and risk management.
• Achieve annual sales targets.
• Maintain accurate client record keeping and documentation for your role.
• Support the sales team with administrative tasks such as data entry, report generation and policy documentation.
• Produce correspondence to required time frames and quality standards.
• Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely processing of quotation referrals.
• Work within the Compliance Framework required by NFU Mutual and Financial Conduct Authority.
• Ensuring compliance in line with FCA Regulatory and NFU Mutual requirements.
About you
We are looking for a highly organised, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who is a team player and ready for the challenge of being part of a busy team. Whilst previous insurance experience would be an advantage, commitment to learning and development is essential.

• Strong IT skills and ideally experience using Microsoft CRM systems with an ability to adapt to new systems.
• A minimum of National 5 Grades including Maths and English (or equivalent).
• A valid UK driving licence. Whilst this role is internal, there may be occasions, for example training, when it would be helpful if you could visit our other office.
