Job Details
The Role• Next’s Footwear Technology teams work hard to ensure the quality of our footwear is always of the highest standard. Working alongside Designers, Buyers and Merchandisers, this role is key to the entire product critical path from start to finish.
What You’ll Take On
• Support the Footwear Technology process from design concept to delivery; develop and elevate quality within the Children’swear team.
• Drive technical innovation and product improvements while collaborating closely with the footwear technology team.
• Approve and progress the range, delivering high quality standards and providing clear written and verbal communication internally and externally.
• Manage the supply base to meet expectations.
• Conduct risk assessment, request and analyse product test data to ensure compliance with all performance, legal and safety standards.
• Implement Next policies and sustainability targets.
• Manage in-season quality reviews, audit and utilise information to further improve quality.
What You’ll Bring
• Team player with strong people skills for effective communication within a multi‑functional team.
• Technical experience and an exceptional eye for detail gained through qualifications and experience in footwear technology.
• Excellent understanding of manufacturing, construction and performance.
• Drive and initiative to generate and implement new ideas in your department.
