This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Controls Engineer / Industrial Automation Engineer to join a rapidly growing global technology business delivering innovative software solutions to the manufacturing sector.
Responsibilities
* Conduct site surveys and assess manufacturing equipment for data collection opportunities
* Integrate PLCs, sensors, and industrial devices with software platforms
* Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols
* Support implementation and commissioning activities at customer sites
* Work closely with customer engineering, operations, and IT teams
* Contribute to continuous improvement and best practice development
Requirements
* Experience within Automation, Controls, Manufacturing Systems, OT, or Industrial Engineering
* Knowledge of PLCs and industrial automation systems
* Experience with industrial networking and communication protocols such as OPC-UA, Profinet, Modbus TCP, or EtherNet/IP
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities
* Willingness to travel
