About the RoleWe’re looking for a motivated, detail‑driven individual who wants to kick‑start or grow their finance career. This newly created role sits at the heart of our Finance team, giving you hands‑on experience with key day‑to‑day functions including purchase ledger management, banking processes and financial administration.If you’re eager to learn, thrive in a fast‑paced environment and want to be part of a brand with serious momentum, this is the perfect opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
1. Processing purchase ledger invoices
2. Setting up bank payments
3. Posting supplier payments
4. Managing supplier queries and issuing remittances
5. Overseeing invoice approval workflows
6. Assisting with bank reconciliations
7. Setting up and maintaining supplier records
8. Supporting audit preparation
9. Providing phoneline cover for the Finance team
10. General administrative duties and ad‑hoc finance projects
What We’re Looking For
11. Ideally 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths & English (grade 5+)
12. Ability to work in the office 5 days a week during the temp period and probation, with potential hybrid working later - 3 days office 2 days home
13. Basic Excel / MS Office skills and a willingness to develop further
14. A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset
15. Exceptional attention to detail
16. Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast‑moving environment
